"During our first round trip to Kazakhstan, we stayed at the hotel for seven nights, moving between four different rooms. Although this particular room was a standard one, we found it to be the best of the bunch. Perhaps the kind staff member at the front desk gave us a bit of special treatment. The large bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and it even offered a mountain view. The enclosed shower stall was, without exaggeration, the best we've ever used – not a single drop of water leaked out! When we requested boiled water, the front desk staff immediately arranged for a kettle to be sent to our room. The service was truly excellent and satisfying! We had a 10 PM flight, and we were able to comfortably relax and use our phones for the entire afternoon at the hotel lobby's coffee area. This further reinforced our impression of the hotel's great service. The front desk even assisted us in booking a taxi online for our trip to the airport, which saved us a considerable amount. Overall, the hotel left us with a truly wonderful impression!"

"Very nice hotel, is a new building and facilities, local restaurant next foor, bus stop around the corner, will surely come back, the only other wish i had that the, pillows could be more comfortable, and it has to be down feather filling, its not humid in Almaty and down pillows would an excellent choice, but I'm just spoiled"

"My stay at ibis Almaty Jetisu in the Standard Double Room was very comfortable and convenient. The room, while compact, was clean, modern, and efficiently designed to make the most of the space. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night’s rest, and the room had all the essentials I needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The hotel's location was great, close to key areas in the city, making it easy to explore Almaty. "The location is superb! The guesthouse's breakfast was perfectly suited to my Chinese palate, and compared to lunch and dinner, it was the most enjoyable meal. The room was even cleaner than the pictures! The bedding was incredibly soft, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless with a great wet/dry separation design. You can really tell how much effort the owner put into the details. The host was incredibly friendly! They sent detailed check-in instructions in advance and proactively recommended local delicacies and routes to avoid the crowds, which truly made the entire experience perfect! Outstanding value for money! It's incredible to find such a comfortable guesthouse at this price point. I'll definitely be back!"

"Very satisfied! Although it looks a bit dated, it's clean, well-equipped, and has a strong Soviet feel. The hotel food is plentiful, and transportation is convenient, with excellent bus connections right outside. It's not far from the airport either, less than a 30-minute drive. Plus, there's an elegant coffee shop on the first floor – fantastic!"

"Great hotel in convenient location. Had spent the previous 3 weeks travelling the Silk Road and trekking in Kyrgyzstan so some luxury was welcome. Ideally would have preferred a swimming pool but the top storey jacuzzis were a treat. Only quibble was that there were no toiletries in the bathroom when we arrived other than shampoo and shower gel dispensers which were riveted to the wall of the shower. When I asked for hair conditioner I was informed that it was not available for basic rooms. It would have been so easy for them to have given me the hair conditioner and then receive a 10/10 rating but they were quite obstinate in refusing to do so."

"The hotel is 20 minutes by taxi from the bus station. The bus station is right at the door, so it is very convenient to go anywhere. There are many convenience stores downstairs. The room is very clean and the air conditioning is very powerful. Although the room is not very big, it is fully equipped. Everything is brand new and newly opened in 2025. The landlord is a pair of handsome Chinese men and beautiful women. They are very hospitable and helped us get a taxi. They also showed us how to get to the attractions and how to take the bus, so that we had a lot of fun and didn't have to take a taxi. It also saved a lot of money. It is recommended that Chinese friends come to Kazakhstan to stay at the first choice. My mother is very satisfied with the stay. I wish the owner a prosperous business, a lot of money, and a safe life. I will patronize it next time I go to Kazakhstan. It is highly recommended"
